Weight Problems

Dealing with weight loss issues in psychiatry and medicine go far beyond the standard “diet and exercise” routine. In psychiatry it is generally accepted that a lot of people who have difficulties losing weight have more deep-rooted psychological (and sometimes medical) issues that are causing them to overeat. Whilst a “diet and exercise” routine may provide a short-term solution, psychiatric evaluation and treatment will yield a more long-term solution to a weight loss problem an individual may be having.
